Your questions about de delaware

Daniel asks…

How do I file my taxes if I live in Pennsylvania but work in Delaware? I already recieved a return from DE.?

I currently live in Pennsylvania but I work in Wilmington, Delaware. How do I go about adjusting my PA taxes? I would appreciate any help with this. Thanks!

AndrewTraub answers:

Only thing you would owe in PA is taxes on interest or capitol gains.

Ken asks…

I am a Maryland resident and my taxes were witheld by Delaware. What should I do?

Job is in Delaware and home in Maryland. When I took the job my payroll dept was taking out taxes in both states and I told them to only take taxes out DE taxes. Was this right thing to do based on my situation?

AndrewTraub answers:

I don’t think so. If you live in MD, you probably owe MD tax. You may have to file a DE return to get your withholdings back. Call MD and tell them what happened because you need to send them some money right away or you may be subject to interest and penalty for not having the tax withheld from your checks.

You may also owe DE tax, but remember that the states cannot tax each other, so you will get credit from MD for what you have to pay in DE and vice versa….. and the taxes go on and on and on.

Paul asks…

What is the point of Incorporation in Delaware?

1. Why more than half of all corporations in US are opened in state of Delaware?

2. Is it make sense to open corp in DE and work full time in NY? Is the business (web development) will be taxed in both states?

Thanks!

AndrewTraub answers:

Many of the corporations only have a one room office in Delaware to be incorporated there for the tax laws. However, many companies are leaving Delaware or closing.

Robert asks…

Maria asks…

Who are important people from Delaware and what did they do?

I’m researching Delaware and I can’t seem to find any people that are important to colonial Delaware BESIDES De La Warr. Can anybody help me? Also, what did William Penn do for Delaware?

AndrewTraub answers:

William Penn negotiated with England for rights to the land where Delaware is now located.

In William Penn’s document, Frame of Government of 1682, he tried to establish a combined assembly for his whole domain by providing for equal membership from each county and requiring legislation to have the assent of both the Lower Counties and the Upper Counties of Chester, Philadelphia and Bucks.

The meeting place also alternated between Philadelphia and New Castle. Once Philadelphia began to grow, its leaders resented having to go to New Castle and gain agreement of the assemblymen from the sparsely populated Lower Counties and so there was a mutual agreement in 1704 for the two assemblies to meet separately from thenceforth.

The Lower Counties did continue to share a governor, but the Province of Pennsylvania was never merged with the Lower Counties.

50. Yoga For Children – It’s Not Just For Adults

February 28, 2011 by AndrewTraub
Filed under Alternative Medical Treatments, Art, Music, Yoga

Why would someone consider paying someone to help their child get exercise? Once upon a time, exercise was the same word used for playing. Children would open their door, head outside and would not show up until dinner time. Games would be played with other children that would involve running, jumping, laughing, and even positive conflict.

However, the world is a different place. It is now filled with fear, anxieties, and other forms of stress. Terms like ADD and ADHD have become standard when describing children. Obesity has risen in children causing an onslaught of childhood disease and general unhealthiness. What is the answer to it all? Perhaps yoga could be the right path for your child.

What Is Yoga?

Many people have their own ideas of what yoga is and all that it involves.
Yoga is a group of Indian spiritual practices that aims at achieving the union with the Supreme Consciousness. There are some yogas that go beyond that and aim at the spiritual transformation of the human nature and obtaining immortality. The Western Hemisphere embraces the physical aspects together with the practice of asanas more than anything (asanas are postures of Hatha Yoga). This is often used as a form of exercise that is good for the body but easy on its joints.

Why Choose Yoga?

What could yoga do for a person? How could they benefit? Well, at its physical level, yoga has been proven extremely beneficial for certain disorders. Further reasons to try this form of alternative health therapy would be:

• Increasing Flexibility – yoga acts on many of the joints of the body. It goes beyond the norm to include those that are not commonly exercised but need to be for achieve full mobility
• Increasing lubrication of the joints, ligaments, and tendons – The positions practiced also work the ligaments and tendons that help release the necessary lubrication to prevent injury. Natural lubrication is essential to joint and body health and an increase in it is even more beneficial, particularly for a sedentary society of children.
• Organ health – Yoga massages all the organs and stimulates a strong circulatory systems and ample blood supply. These help fight against disease.
• Awareness – Yoga gives children of all ages an introduction to self-awareness and awareness of the self in relation to the earth and to others.
• Complete Detoxification – Multitudinous toxins can accumulate in even the very young. These come from all manner of dietary, medicinal, and environmental pollutants and substances. The increase in circulation and ample blood supplied by yoga practice enhances the detoxification and excretion process, making for healthier, toxin-free children who have more energy and feel better.
• Toning – Yoga is an excellent source of toning for young muscle groups. It works to build muscles, strengthen, and enhance flexibility as it works to correct the problems of inactivity

Is Yoga Really For Children?

The benefits mentioned are for everyone who incorporates yoga into their lives. There are benefits that are specifically designed for children. Some of these benefits include:

• Self-control – The simple breathing and biofeedback techniques that are used slow the nervous system allowing children to develop a sense of self-control and allowing them to connect with their feelings.
• Concentration – The poses and sequences used help release physical and emotional energy that help children concentrate and helps them test better in the learning atmosphere
• Skills – The games and tools used help develop trust, compassion, communication, and teamwork skills
• Relaxation – Storytelling, mental imagery, and music help promote a sense of calmness that allows the imagination to flow
• Wellness – Lessons learned help develop healthy habits around food, exercise, electronic media, and other choices that can affect decisions

When it comes to the children, one should take all aspects into consideration. The children are truly our future and their overall happiness matters for the proper balance of health. When a child is sick then the parent will take them to the doctor, have the necessary prescriptions filled, and follow the doctor’s orders. However, overall health is not just about avoiding illness but the fine balance of physical, mental, social, and emotional wellness, such that yoga can provide.

Your questions about de preposition

Maria asks…

What preposition must be placed between personas and exceder in this sentence?

Las personas exceder los limites de sus paises.

AndrewTraub answers:

Las personas exceden los límites de sus países
???
No preposition needed and you need to conjugate the verb.

Helen asks…

How do you say in French “a project by “? More precisely, what preposition do you use?

I don’t know if the “by” in here translates by “par”, “de” or something else.
No, no, no. A project made by .
Okay, thanks.

AndrewTraub answers:

Un projet par….. (person’s name)

Un projet par le nom de…..

Un projet a appelé…

“A project by…(person’s name)”

“A project by the name of….”

“A project named…”

.

Lisa asks…

How to use the preposition “después de” + verb in spanish.?

How would I say something like “After you left, I saw my friends”? I’m a bit confused because I don’t know how to say “you left” using the infinitive “salir” since an infinitive has to follow “después de.”

AndrewTraub answers:

Después de volver, respondí mis emails.
After returning, I answered my emails.
Both sentences refer to the same person, ‘I’

Después de comer, Juan me llamó por teléfono.
After eating, Juan called me.
Person? Both times, Juan.

When you’re referring to two or more different people this structure does not apply.
Después que Juan me llamó, contesté mis emails.
After Juan called me, I answered my emails.

….

Daniel asks…

is “fruits de mer” considered one noun or a noun, a preposition and a noun?

I need to know for a syntax assignment for my french linguistics class.

AndrewTraub answers:

technically these would be two names joined by a preposition

Joseph asks…

what is difference between del, de and de la in spanish preposition?( 10 points 4 best)?

what is the difference between the spanish preposition del, de and de la? Or can you use any one of them?

AndrewTraub answers:

ok, so i’m assuming you know that in spanish, nouns are considered masculine or feminine. el and la are basically just the word “the” in spanish. so if you are referring to a feminine noun (generally one ending in “a”) you would use “la”, as in la pluma (the pen). whereas a masculine noun (usually ends in “o”) would be el zapato (the shoe).

“de” means “from” or “of”, so to be from a place, for example, or to belong to something. if i wanted to say i am from the united states, i would say “soy de los estados unidos.” “los” is just the plural form of “el”. it will always agree with the noun, so if states is plural, you will use “los” instead of “el.” and “estados” is masculine, which is why you use the “el” form.

to say “i am from the state” you will say “soy del estado.” “state”, or “estado”, is still masculine, but since it is not plural, you use “el”. “del” is just de+el, because in spanish a word ending with the same sound that the next one begins with often combines with it.

finally, to say something like “i am from the moon” (i know, silly sentence, but whatever) you would say “soy de la luna.” luna is feminine.

in plural, “i am from the moons” you would say “soy de las lunas”. “las” being the plural form of “la”.

so to sum it up, look at the noun you are referring to, determine whether it is a masculine or feminine noun, and then use the preposition that agrees with it. and if it’s plural, remember to use “los” or “las”.

hope this helps.

Learn The History of Acupuncture

The history of acupuncture is one of the most amazing stories you will hear. This is an ancient form of medicine that came close to being non-used. Yet, in the last two decades has seen a vast calling for it. As people lose faith in traditional or western medicine, they seek out alternative health treatments to help them to manage pain, overcome illness or to improve their quality of life. All of these things can help individuals to heal through natural methods.
The history of acupuncture dates back thousands of years. It is believed to be a type of medicine that was practiced even before records indicate it. In fact, some believe that the history of acupuncture dates back to the Taoist traditions where could have dates back 8000 years. During that time period, people would meditate. In doing so, they realized that there was a flow of energy in their bodies that moved within and without. During this time, Fu His lived and has since become a legend. He lived on the Yellow River. During this ancient time, he observed nature and developed the firs theories of yin-yang. Later, he would develop the Book of Change or I-Ching which will be used for many years as an outline of the trigrams.
The history of acupuncture can also be traced based on the evidence of needles found today. In some ruins found within China, needles can be found that date back to the New Stone Age. The New Stone Age was from 10,000 to 4000 years ago. During that time, people had developed the skills to refine stones into very thin needles. These were then used, it is believed as parts of the healing process. They were given a name of bian stone. This name represents a sharp tool that is used to treat disease.
In the history of acupuncture, there is several times where things became very important. For example, one of the most significant was the period of the Huang Di which was from 2697 to 2597. During that time, Huang Di and his physician Qi Bo worked to discuss and develop many of the traditional Chinese arts including acupuncture. The text, The Nei Jing (The Yellow Emperors Classic of Internal Medicine) would be developed which would serve as an important fixture in acupuncture as it outlines techniques, acupuncture points, needles and even descriptions of the meridians.
The history of acupuncture continues with the refinement of these processes as well as the creation of new methods of acupuncture. Today, there are many ways that they can be used, but all are based on these ancient methods.
